Inspirations? Mexico 5 months 2011
Photography and Journey: Mexico.
This was our 5 months touring of Mexico, for those seeking inspiration, Mexico was wonderful to us, Baja, Copper Canyon, Mazatlan, Guadalajara, Mexico City, to Yucatan, all the fascinating Maya ruins, 10 days Belize, Chiapas and Lacandon, Pacific coast north to Acapulco and finally Oaxaca. The journey pages contain KML-tracks/WPs for download.

You can do one of the 5 principal mountain routes here in Veracruz.
If you need maps and maybe a meet up, just let me know.
I have plenty of time off during the next few weeks.
A little cooler in the higher elevations but the state line area of Puebla-Veracruz offers some very good mountain riding. Most people miss it because they stick to the coastal areas.
Send me a PM and I can email you routes, maps, pictures, etc...

Guy, Ok, just give me a little advance notice and I will clear the decks of work so I can spend some time showing you the mountain routes. It is better, actually, if you stay in Teocelo, Xico, Coatepec, Perote, or maybe Xalapa rather than the port here. Those locales are much closer, much cheaper, better food, and much more ambience though a little cooler temp wise.
I can easily ride up to meet you and that way you don't have to get up too early. Perote has one very clean and tidy and cheap hotel that I can recommend, and there are a few in Teocelo, Coatepec, Xico, etc... as well.
I ride an F650GS twin, as well in case you need something.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
