Thanks Lone Rider, I'll keep that in mind.
Hey Marty, all is well at present. Daisy is loving it at present...no idea how far we'll get though - just have to wait and see.
BTW, our website is now up and running:

Paused in San Jose
Chao,
I am presently hold up in the Hotel Cacts, Bareo Mexico, San Jose, Costa Rico. My adventures from the US to TDF were interupted when my traveling mates opted for a Canoe trip from Miramar Panama to Cartagena. The prospect of such a trip caused my better judgement to kick in. Since I speak no Spanish I decided to return to Costa Rica enter school and proceed when I can speak and understand well enough to proceed on my own.
All that covered, my trusty R100GSPD (War Pony) is in the stable resting for the continuation of our travel. Should you pass my way please contact me and I will introduce you to Mac's.

Hey Pappy, we're just about to enter El Salvador in the next couple of days. By the looks of things we should be passing your way in the next month, so we'll let you know when we're near.

I was walking down Paseo Colon about 4 today and saw a couple on a 1150 adventure. I was wondering if perhaps that was you guys. It looked like maybe UK plates. They pulled away before I could get across the streets.
I am still hold up in the Hotel Cacts, 300 metros norte Pizza Hut, Paseo Colon, in Bareo Mexico, San Jose. Phone 506 321 6546. They know me as the guy on the moto studing spanish. Contact me.

Nope, we´re on a battered Africa Twin, heading South with two other English lads (Mark and Matt both on F650s) and Helge the Norwegian (BMW sidecar combi). We´ll work out our route and give you a call...

Pappy, apologies for not dropping by, but we took a wide berth of San Jose and went to La Fortuna, riding the Northern border crossing into Panama. Hope your trip goes well and maybe catch up some other time?

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
