MC Rental: Costa Rica

I'm interested in renting a motorcycle in Costa Rica for a couple of weeks. We will be two up, minimal off road. My research shows a lot of companies. I'm very interested in Costa Rica Motorcycle Tours Inc, as they have BMW's and KTMs (what I currently own). Does anyone have any experience with this company or other recommendations? I only have two weeks or we would ride our own down.

Thanks,

Clarence

Perhaps you are refering to Motos de Costa Rica(Radiográfica Costarricense S.A.). which is opperated by my friend Paul Furlong. Great guy!
They have mostly new KTM 450's and 650's and specialize in group tours(they go like stink), but he may rent singles.
Paul posts here and if you look back a couple weeks, there was a C.R. thread that he chimmed in on.

Hi Motomech,

the right link to the web site from Paul, Wayne and RJ is Costa Rica Motorcycle Tours and Rentals
I agree, there are great guys, nice tours and the bikes are in excellent shape. I just rode with them again.
Clarence, if you want to rent without going on tour with a guide they will screen you and you have to leave your passport and ride with a copy of it.

Have fun and enjoy

I don´t know how Wild Rider compare as far as prices etc go, but the guys are really helpful there. I needed to change my rear tyre today and couldn´t have done it without them.

Smile Biker of Costa Rica

I live in Cartago, 25 km from San José. All days I conmute to San José to my work in a KLR-650. I'm traveling from Costa Rica to Colombia on Dec-17.

If you arrive to CR before Dec-17, maybe we can see and ride some km.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
