Garmin maps for Central America

I didn't think that you could get any Garmin maps for Central America. However watching the You Tube clip on this trip report;https://www.advrider.com/f/threads/d...erica.1550405/
They do have some mapping on their Zumo.

I asked him if it was a Garmin map and he replied with; You’re right, Garmin does not support CA. So you don’t have turn by turn directions, however you do still have a map you can view and you are able to see where you are in the map. You just cannot put in destinations etc…

I then asked if they bought those maps and the reply was "We did not purchase anything. The GPS already had the map on it"

I will need to purchase maps for my Garmin (having New Zealand and Australia on it won't get me far!) but I wondered where do you purchase those from?

Any ideas?
