Sim cards for the Balkans

Does anyone have any experience with buying sim cards with a data connection in the Balkans. I am looking at going to Slovenia, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo and Macedonia.
Don't know if I will get time to visit them all. But it would be nice to know if I could get them when i get to the country.
Also if anyone knows about the coverage in the countries that would be useful.
Had a look on the net and cant seem to find much about coverage

Wayne

Prepaid ones are available in Macedonia. No problems to get them. For off-road, I would not relying on them. Otherwise, ok.

Thanks for the reply. Which network is the best one to get? By 'off-road' do you mean reception is not good once you go in to the hills?

Thanks

Wayne

Hi Wayne,
T-Mobile is the one with the best coverage. Usually, reception is good, until you are far away in the mountains on dirt roads. Free wi-fi is a common things at cafes (if you don't need a permanent connection).
Have a nice trip.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
