35,000 mile gear update from Ushuaia
I tried copying the text to this space, but couldn´t get the bold and italics to work, so here is the link to my web page where I describe the bike, gear and clothing after 35,000 miles here in Ushuaia.

Rene - just wanted to drop a note and say thanks for the gear update - Nobody else has, and I didn't want you to think it went un-noticed !!!!
I'm flying into BA on 20th Jan - and heading south. Your gear appraisal was perfect timing as I've just shipped the bike today.
Maybe see you for a somewhere on the road!?!?

I am glad they may be of use to somebody. These forums were a fantastic resource for me before I started, so in a way I am repaying the favor.
GregM - I am still in Ushuaia being held hostage by my friends at the Argentinian Post Office. I have received three of four packages, and was just told the remaining one is on a truck bound to Salta, where I mailed it from more than a month ago. At this rate I will still be here when you arrive...!
Cheers,
Rene

Hi guys -
Rene - good luck with Argie post-office, hope they´ve delivered by now. Hope to see you on the road somewhere, I´ve arrived BA last night, bike arrives Sunday.
Mike - sorry for not replying to your email, completely rushed the past week prior to departure. By the way, the email in your profile doesn´t work. It was great to hear from you!!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
