Hey Riders!

I will start with the Conclusion to save you some scrolling...it works. I installed the insert a month ago and have been doing several rides each week here in Santa Cruz, California in temperatures down to 29 degrees and NO MORE FOG! For the full story and how to get your hands on one, read on...

So, quick background, I tried a number of liquid and gel products to keep the fog off the inside of my visor with limited success. My favorite was a product called Raincoat by motosolutions, but couldn't get my hands on it anymore. Started checking the web for a new / better solution and came across this review by WebBikeWorld on WeeTect's anti fog visor insert:

Only two problems:
1) They did not actually take it out riding (Lord knows why not!)
2) It wasn't available as of August 2016 to consumers

Since I was researching this in November 2017 I figured I would check out WeeTect's website. Sure enough, the insert was listed as for sale. Instead of a 'cart' or anything like that I was directed to e-mail them and was contacted back shortly with pricing, shipping, and payment information from their manufacturing plant in Shanghai, China. Bit leary at this point, but they are running a promotional price for only $10 dollars so I figured I would give it a shot. The shipping was $25, so I bought 4 (1 for mine, 1 for the wifes, and 2 for the future if it actually worked. Well, long story short (too late), they arrived about a week later via DHL and the rest is history.

I was asked by the WeeTect contact to review the product and since I am happy camper now and want other riders to be able to SEE better here it is. If you are interested in ordering the link is below. Because of the relatively high shipping costs I recommend ordering for the future or with a group. They offered me a $3 commission per visor, but I asked if they would give a $3 discount to orders from ADV Rider and HU. Just wrote them, so don't know if they will do it or not .
