Disc lock
G'day all. I recently bought a disc lock from ebay for my XT600e. It was a cheap lock but looked the part.
It was on my bike (rear wheel) for one night. The next day not thinking I put the ignition key in unlocked the steering and slowly wheeled the bike backwards not remembering to remove the rear disc lock.
With the slightest stammer the bike wheeled out of my shed and there on the ground was my new disc lock in two pieces.
No effort was put into the reverse push and as I said I only felt a slight bump as if I had rolled over a small stone on the ground.
Buy cheap you get cheap.
I hope this helps someone?
Im just glad it was me pushing my bike out of the shed .
Cheers, Kevin.
BTW, that fist photo is it butted back together. There was never any sign of a crack when intact.
