Overland-Solutions ????????
Hi,
I order some equipment from Overland-Solutions ( Overland-Solutions.com: Rally & Overland Fabrications ) back in August, paid with my credit card.
No news from them since. Not a word. First I thought it was summer holiday, now I start to worry. I already wrote them some mails asking if there was a problem but got no answer (except an automatic one)
I also phone them, but no one on the other side... Bizarre... It's been 2 months now... and I find it rather a problem than a "solution".
Does anybody ever bought something from them? Any one with a similar situation?
Cheers

You're welcome: I hope it gets sorted out soon - you should be near the top of the backlog because it is two months ago!
Good luck,

I think they respond as quickly as their site downloads webpages
Also, if you're passing through some of these African countries...why not get some stuff made there...contribute to their local economy.
Outfits like OS are nice, BUT some of these cats in Africa can fab some pretty sweet stuff for you on the cheap and on the spot. Consider it another option...

Good point Edde,
I get metal parts (e.g. GPS handlebar brackets and supports) fabricated in Sharjah industrial area and bring parts (mudguard, fairing etc.) here from the UK for bodywork repair. The work is cheap and excellent quality.
I'll be using the same guys to strengthen my CRF's subframe when the time comes; Ernie's is just too far.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
