Rev'it Sand jacket and pants
I didnt see the revit sand here yet so ill share my experience with the jacket and pants. I have them for about 2 months now and drove 2K KM with em trough dutch weather.
Im 1,83M and the M jacket and L pants fitted me best. Jacket has a nice snug fit. I recommend you trying the jacket and pants on without all layers cos i almost bought them both 1 size to big!
I replaced the original foam back protector with a sastec back protector which goes right in (the foam is just useless and a replacement is like 25 euro's). All protectors are replaceable btw. I find all the other protectors sufficient although i might replace the knee armor sometime (i wear sidi crossfires and when walking the knee armor sometimes hits the edge of the boots.
Quality of the jacket and pants look very good. Jacket and pants contain 2 layers. a water proof layer and a warmth layer. The jacket and pant it self are not water proof it will take small rain showers though but anything serious will get you wet without the rain layers zipped in.
The jacket has plenty of pockets where you can store stuff. Im not sure if the pockets are waterproof though they didnt got wet with me yet. The front pocket do have flaps to keep water from running in the pockets and there is a extra liner in the pockets so they might be waterproof couldnt find anything on this. Revit also fit the rain liner with a iner pocket(so has the warmth layer) but this may also be because with the liners zipped in you can only access 1 inner pocket at a time. I discovered this when the police asked for my bike papers and i first had to zip out the rain liners to get them.
I bought Sand jacket and pants during a heat wave here so first few days i did some riding with all layers out and all vent zips open. The jacket has 2 front vents with 3d mesh. You can also zip open your sleeves and open up 2 vents in the back. This really gets some air flowing and it was very comfortable riding in 30C. Also just waiting at traffic lights didn't make me instantly sweat to dehydration.
Unfortunately the summer is over temps dropped and its raining alot. I now drive around with the rain liner zipped in and it kept me dry (and warm!) so far. I mostly just wear a tshirt or a sweater under the jacket and even in temps as low as 10C im perfectly comfortable and i dont think ill zip in the warmth layer in soon.
Negative points? I bought the Silver red jacket and silver pants. They look nice but after riding trough a swarm of flies and some mud it doesn't look so pretty any more. But guess thats why they have the all black option for people who dont care about fashion (anyone has some cleaning tips?)
Other thing is that because the jacket and pants are not waterproof by itself they get really soaked in a good rain shower so they take some time to dry again.
Overall i really think this is a supurb all year set!
