Wenger Tents
I just bought a Wenger tent (Winterhorn) and found a problem with the stitching. Seeing as it's got a lifetime warranty I called up the company and a very unhelpful woman told me I should return the tent for an exchange. She said it would take over a month to get a new rain fly sent to me after I nagged at her for a while since I refused to return the tent. grrrr, a warranty that slow is no warranty and it costs 25US to return the tent to the seller, each way! Also, of the 13 pounds of weight atleast half of it is the poles. The brochure states there are 4 poles but it is a lie, there are 8! 4 to hold up the tent, 2 to stiffen the windows, and 2 to stiffen the rain fly. The floor of the tent was a bit of a surprise too, it's the same fabric as the walls. I'm more accustomed to the floor being made out of tarpoline material. It's a good thing it only cost a 100CDN delivered, I'll just throw it out or burn it for heat when it fails in the jungle. >:|
