Hello. Once again just my 2 cents here. To me this doesn't look like such a great deal. First off, if you include price of shipping, GST (yes, they will ding you at the boarder, rotten scoundrells...) and exchange rate, you will most likely find a better deal here in Canada, just check out your local off-roading shops. These boxes look like the ones a buddy put in the back of his truck, very thin and light, but probably won't close after taking a good hit! Grant also has thin boxes( 2 mil, i think??) but his are completely supported from underneath like a basket, which is what you would have to do. Another thing to consider is how wide your bike would be after installing these boxes. In my research i've found most boxes average between 7" to 10" wide. I read somewhere that Germany has a width restriction of 1 metre (3'4") In the planning stage of the frame and boxes i'm building, i've decided to go no wider that the handel-bars on my GS100PD, taking a lesson from the cat who will never enter an opening narower than the width of it's wiskers. If the handelbars fit, you can guarentee the rest of the bike will.
Good luck!
