Nice one, Graeme! I've been told they should fit straight on but not had confirmation of that until now. I believe they are 120 or 130 litres or so. Nothing to stop putting another on the other side too.

Right, it's off to the breakers now!

duel fuel tank switch

I have just finished fitting and linking two plastic tanks together.
So I thought people might be interested in how I linked them.
Very simply I bought a dual tank solonoid operated switch from ebay. it was about £60 and it switches both the flow and the return pipes and also the sender unit. So one flick of a switch on the dashboard and I am running on the other tank and I know exactly how fuel or empty I am.
I still cant seem to upload a photo but if anyone wants one I can email you.

Here though is the ebay link

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
