4x4 off roading in Corsica?
Anybody done it or know anything about it?
I'm quite taken by the idea of Corsica for a shakedown of my HJ60 when it's done. Has anybody been to do off roading? I'm told it's good but the only stuff I've found either relates to bikes or Atlas off road's organised tour. I don't want anything too damaging, just a chance to enjoy myself, do some camping and try out my (basically stock) Land Cruiser.

Hi buy a good map of Corsica & plan a number of routes then try google earth to get a better idea of a route you have seen on the map.
I know of a few 4x4 tour company's that run self drive tours around the island, atlas overland being just one so there is public access to unsealed routes on the island.
you could try a cheeky google..
regards
Gren

Atlas Overland
Been with Atlas Overland to Corsica.
Very relaxed tour, friendly atmosphere, did both nice tracks with forest roads and lovely beaches.
Had an absolute blast , would absolutely recommend this to friends without hesitation.

Things have changed a bit since I first posted this. I've now got a steyr puch fiat panda 4x4 and have rescheduled Corsica for this coming summer. I've got the 2 small scale IGNs and a rough guide but was wondering if anybody else has any personal recommendations for good routes
