Accomadation in normandy
Just popped over to France for the weekend boy was it hot 39 degrees at the Le Man 24 hr track, my usual deal is not to book but this time I did.I stayed at www.maisonlaudiere.com/
we were met by Carole on the laneway who was waiting on hand to help with parking, before we even could get out helmets off she was there with a glass of red. The house is a beautiful old french farmhouse that has been restored to a high standard and very clean and comfortable, its located in the Normandie-Maine Regional Natural Park so well away from the boring motorways with some great biking roads, lots of little villages ect. After a wash we sat at the family kitchen table and eat a well cooked meal with Carole who was a lovely lady very knowlegable about the area and a super host. If you are thinking of visiting the area have a go its very keenly priced and biker friendly. I have now changed my mind in how I will tour in the future if this is whats available for such a competitive price I will book B&B in future.

That's a very favourable review and they are keenly priced; I suggest you could repost into the forum below:-
Bike Friendly, Europe - The HUBB
It certainly makes more sense than the usual French hotel chains such as Campanile and Accor which are becoming ever more expensive. The big advantage of those chains is that they are everywhere and easy to find, being widely advertised on every road junction when approaching each city and town.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
