Bike storage in Italy or elsewhere?
Planning to ship bike to Europe from Canada in May 2017 and after touring then store for winter - looking at
Mototouring - Motorcycle storage in Milan, Italy in Milan
Does anyone have experience with this company?
Or any other suggestions in that area of Europe?

I could offer a spot to park your bike just outside Munich in southern German if that would suit you.

I've been storing my bike with mototouring for years--they are great, and also provide green card insurance.
The best thing about mototouring is that they will drop off and pick up your bike at the airport, so if you are flying in for a long weekend you don't have to mess around with driving into Milan, which is expensive and a pain.
pm with with any additional questions.

Thanks Hans for the generous offer.
I'll get back to you for more details once I decide where my end point is going to be.

Motoreiter - thanks for positive review for Mototouring, good to know.
Got a good laugh out of 'flying into Milan for the weekend' - quite a commitment from the west coast of Canada!

Wasn't Branson developing a new supersonic aircraft?
Harry, just PM me when your plans are more or less finalized.

ahem, I did specify a long weekend. But I was based in Moscow so a long weekend to Northern Italy was a perfect break.

Hi Harry,
Besides our well known border insurance service for EU, Balkans and Turkey, we are also offering on-site storage on yearly base. Bikes are stored inside of the facility where we're running our B&B business and tour operator services. Storage is safe, secured, and trickle charging is included. Maintenance, parts, tires, can be sorted in advance before your arrival.
We're located in Zagreb, Croatia, 2 h drive from Adriatic coast.
let me know if you have any more questions.
Cheers
Dooby

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
