Smile Bulgaria The Unknown

Hello Everyone! As a biker, and Bulgarian, I would like to share places and routes with you from my country. It is a common crossing country for the ones headed from Europe to the middle east, but we have such a great number gem-destinations, the ones that are out of the map, somewhere away from the commercial and the popular.

So here I will post some destinations I hope you would love.

Hi neighbor.
Somehow, I never visited Bulgaria, by bike. Maybe next year. Can you give me few routes with I should not miss (for a weekend ride)? Forests and lakes are welcomed. I prefer small roads, some easy off road is not a problem. More important is beauty of nature.
Thanks for vids.

Hi!

Me and my girlfriend will be in Bulgaria from the 16 to the 21 of August this summer. We're planning to spend that time between Sofia and the beach (most likely south of Burgas). Any recommendations regarding the coast?

She is flying back on the 21 and I have to be in Athens five days later, so I was planning to explore the mountains in the border with Greece those days. Could you recommend some routes? Is it possible/easy/legal to camp there?

Thank you very much!

Bulgaria is beautiful

Been there this summer, Sofia, Plovdiv, Rila Monestary, Melnik, Albena, Kaliakra, Albenasi, Bojentji and lots and lots more. And for sure : not expensive!
Really a great trip. Did 6600 km on my NC700X Netherlands - Bulgaria and back.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
