Buying tires in Turkey
Hello
The end of July we want to go from Germany by Turkey to Iran. In Iran, we want to drive across two weeks around the country and then back to Turkey. From there back to Germany. Overall, this is about 14,000 kilometers. We hope that our tires keep this distance. Possible example, we need to raise tire on the way back in Turkey.
I ride a Ducati Multistrada and use the Continental Trail attack2. I drive very large tires: 190/55ZR17 - there may be procurement problems in Turkey.
Who knows where to get these tires in Turkey?
Thank you very much
Hawk MTS

Buying tires in Turkey
Apr. 272 euro in this web site http://www.motolastik.com/continenta...7-75w-pmu29881
It is located in izmir. If you want it to another city they will ship the tyre. I see that the tyre in stock.
If you want to look for different tyres let me know. It is much easier to find in istanbul like michelin tyres.
Edit: i know bora. You can safely contact with him.

no stocks
For adventure bikes: no stocks of Scouts, of Karoo, of Contis TKC: minimum 3 weeks . Saharas available but will be worn out by the time you are in Georgia. Best bet is local in Istanbul contact BUZ Motor. He has his own website and is the only one that I found with multiple options, including mounting the stuff.

Thank you,
if that is so, then I hope I do not need to have some!!
But in all cases it is good to know who you can turn to.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
