Hello All,
As I am planning a vacation with rather fixed travel dates, I need some information.
Are there car rentals in Bosnia?
And can I take the car I have rented in Bosnia to Croatia?
Of course it can be otjer way as well.

Are there car rentals in CroBoSloMonteSerMacistan [according to your wish substitute with any country that has at least 10 km of paved roads]?
Surely.
Can I take the car I have rented in [some country] to [some other country]?
Usually not. Officially.
But can be negotiated sometimes, especially with small, local rental companies.
You mentioned "rather fixed travel dates" - usually this goes hand in hand with "don't have a lot of time and don't want to loose half a day on something that is not absolutely necessary". If this is the case, forget improvisations. Rent here, rent there, enjoy.

Thank you for sharing your opinions Vrecha. But I really would like to read you experience or some contacts to whom I can consult with.
By the way I have been to Slovenia Lublijana couple of times. Even managed met Uros the Guzzi man who travelled the world with a Quota. I hope he is doing all right.
Regards

Hello.
I'm sure, that you have a rental opinion from big companies in both countries (Bosnia and Croatia) like Europcar, Budget, Hertz....
From my experience like Vrecha said, officialy it is not allowed to go to other country. But...
For last two years, I see in Slovenia there is a lot of cars which have Daruvar (Cro) registration, for which I know that they are rented from Israeli tourist, and they are crossing the border between Slo-Cro...
All in all, looks like, there should be not a problem, crossing the border with the rental car, it is the matter of agreement and price.
Have a nice time!

Going to fly to Sarajevo.
Rented a car (booked already) and will drive up to Split/Croatia with rented car. No problem at all
Many cer rental companies in Sarajevo.
Asked quotation from 5 different companies by e-mail and went with the best one...
Hope this helps...

It's great idea rent a car for travel. I think, you need to compare several services for renting a car ( prices/ scores another people) and choose service and then order a car here.
