'escape to the baltics'
freunde der landstrassen und schotterpisten,
after last year's 'escape to the balkan' we decided this year for the baltic countries. we thought it would high time to visit before all inclusive tours would flush the region.
we travelled twosome, 2 men, two R100GSPD's with campinggear. from germany we rode through czech republic and poland first, then north along poland's eastern border.

We are planning are first trip around the Baltic's in June/July next year.

I'm looking for campinggrounds in Valga (estonia, near de Lt border). anyone had experiences there that can help? we are traveling with 8 bikes.

I thing nearest one is in Otepää some 40 km north east. There is some also near see if you will go A1.

we stayed close to valga last year during our "escape to the baltics". simply the best campground to stay is at zvartava.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB.
