Europe Motorcycle Tour
Hello motorcyclist!
This is Maurice! I am still exited to present you my upcoming Summer project, which i already posted on facebook (maybe someone saw it)! I will cruze around Europe with my bmw f650gs Dakar to meet other motorcycle enthusiasts!
I will create some kind of WHYWERIDE-documentation about Europe travellers! You may know this kind of videos from youtube, if not i linked on on my blogpost.
My plan is to create a similar video, like the Americans did. But mine will be not professional, because its just me and i am a newbie
From time to time the quality should become better. (Learning curve should exist right?) Please have a look at my link for futher informations
Click Here to unleash the dragon
Yeah, this is my route. If anyone is interested in an "interview" with lots of strange and interesting questions, hosting me, want to hang out or having tips for this kind of trip please let me know
But this is not the only idea i have, i will create a second project following Kalina's Skip-the-Small-talk and make big talk with bikers
any
Cheers guys

I have not taken one of the tours, but I had typed in some motorcycle searches on Google that lead me to the tours. People had reviews on there saying it was a great experience. There were no negative comments. I thought it would be something I would do on vacation in the future.

A small comment on the maps. I have seen that you are very focused on riding along the Coast. I would recommend especially in Montenegro and BiH to move into the inner parts of these countries. Especially Montenegro has the most beautiful parts around Durmitor, Kolasin etc. Just as a recommendation. They Road along the cost ist often overcrouded.

Thanks for your advice, northface! I heard that comment from a lot of people, so i might change the route to more inland roads, scenic once and more curvy once! still need to do lots of research... but i am happy for recommendations (i also will check this forum)

I may be in the areas your blog map suggests.
I will be leaving UK on 17th June '16, heading through Germany, Czech, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece, aiming for North West Coast Greece in 20 days.
I will rest on Corfu for 3 or 4 days around 5th July.
Then up Albania, Croatia and into Austria and Italy.

If we are in the same general area I would be more than happy to meet up. Perhaps once I am on the road we can keep each other informed as to location and maybe meet.

First interview with Guido and Lilian from www.thereisnotry.nl is completed, who drove last year from Netherlands to Malaysia, shipped the bike to New Zealand and drove there 10000km. So really interesting and awesome adventurer for me!

Hey wheatwhacker, thanks for your invitation, but for this year Irland has to wait
Just for update purposes, so far got 8 candidates in front of my camera by now (thanks to Guido, Lilian, Albert, Wim, Gaby, Pieter, Marc and Tamir), drove 9500km and they will be much more until Greece
Right now I am south of Cadiz, Spain and will follow that route:
Tarifa - Gibraltar - Ronda - Ardales (El Chorro, Camino de Rei) - El Torcal - Malaga - Granada - Sierra Nevada - Tabernas - Cabo de Gata - San Jose -...- Bardenas Reales - Pyrenees, followed by south of France where I meet my next interview partners
Faro35 was amazing and I get some sweet shots, but I am still looking for a few seconds of drone footage,if anyone know someone
Follow my trip in pictures on, because ifs not easy to write everything down for the blog

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
