Hi,
How long will you be here for? That might change this list.
In general, see all of the Kerry coastline. There are a few specific passes that should not be missed This list includes:
The heally Pass, The connor pass, The gap of Dunlow (this is strangely slippy in the middle of the road, and best done after 5pm as it will have much less walkers), priests leap. by following the coast road, you will have a couple of great days riding there, more if you like stops.
Then follow the Wild Atlantic way north. You pretty much cannot go wrong. This route is scenic (and therefore twisty and not very large roads). You'll get 2 or 3 weeks out of that if you explore every little beach and port along the way.
The midlands of the country is mainly farmland, and what mountains we have are not as dramatic as what you would see in Kerry or Donegal, so I would stick to the coast.

Did the Ring of Kerry a few years ago, most of it is one way as the road is very narrow in places. Lots of tourist buses and dawdlers, didn't see much because of the constant mist.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
