Lynch180 - I see you're marked as being in Panama. My family and I toured down to Panama in a camper a couple of years ago from the US. I kept wishing I was on my bike!

Any word on whether Noah got his bike back? I've not heard anything.

Hi,
Had a blast, still cant wait to get home and get a proper Irish dinner
I was reading the posts on biker.ie and for a while it looked like the guards were onto something, they raided a place that had 6 stolen bikes, one being a KTM..............
I read on in anticipation but turned out it was not Noah's bike

Poland
from my trip in Ierland a few yeears ago, I know that there are Polish gangs who are specialised in steeling cars in Ierland and bring them to Poland. i would recommend to ask the Polish community too to look for your bike!

My xt 600 was stolen in Dublin city center almost 10 years ago, I contacted the police straight away...
About 4 weeks later they found in the street near Montjoy, so the bike was kept at the Montjoy Garda Station for me to collect.
So I would suggest to contact them just in case
Like someone else said, "not organised crime" just youngster wanting to "have fun" in the field...
The scum bag did not go far with it, at that time, there was a faulty contact near main fuse, and intake rubber were damaged, so "I" only was able to start..
They removed all plastics, detroyed ignition, odometer etc....
You may be lucky, like I was, and recover it
Best of luck

Yes it was recovered. I got the call literally when I was putting the last screw in the "new" bike. Now it seems I have 2 American registered KTM 690s in the UK. I'll be heading south on the "new" one to continue my journey. Thanks to everyone who has helped me or offered support.
The "old" one is in very good condition considering. I spent all day yesterday replacing the dash and getting the electrics sorted that the bastards ripped off. It will continue traveling with somebody.
You will probably see her posted up soon in the travel bike section.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
