Motorcycle rental in Portugal
Planning a late summer trip to Portugal, Spain and Morocco. Has anyone used the services of Riderly in Lisbon for bike rental or have other recommendations?

Hertz
Hertz has a cooperation with BMW.
You can rent in Lisboa, Porto and Faro
A different type of bikes than Riderly has.

Tour organizers in Algarve use Hertz.
If you want to go the scooter way, there are many more options.

I believe that Riderly arranges their rentals in Lisbon through these guys, so you could contact the office directly and avoid the middleman.

travelling through portugal a few years ago I met Joao Gomez in Porto, stopped at traffic lights, struck up conversation very welcoming to a fellow biker with advice re camping/eatery etc and an excellent tour alongside the Douro river. And a great help later when i had a breakdown in south Portugal.
Now with his tour company up and running.
good luck

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
