Shipping Tukey to UK

Hi - I'll be heading to Greece and Turkey in Spring 2006 and would like to ship my bike back to southern England. Anyone know of an agent in Antala, or Istanbul?

You should be able to ship via air, sea or truck. For air talk to British Airways and Turkish Airways for their fares.

Turkey has the largest fleet of Trucks in Europe as far as I know. Lot of textile exports and other goods travel from Turkey to Europer. Once your bike is crated you can use trucks as well. Look for companies who collect goods in one truck and ship them. They are called "Groupage Companies". Find oe who works between UK and Turkey.

From Antalya there are lot of charter flights (hundreds). I am not sure if they take cargo? Try from UK with those charter comopanies.

If you have time just ride back to UK.
There are ferries between Cesme(Izmir)-Brindisi or Ancona(Italy). Brindisi to Calais is about 2000 km.
I am gonna ride UK to Italy then take the ferry to Greece and head to Middle East via Turkey.
But if you insist about shipping, try THY and British Airways.
