Off-Road Trails in Holland?

Hi there! I've recently moved to Amsterdam and am finding it tought to find any information on where in NL I can go to ride some trails and do some off-road work/training. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Any and all massively appreciated. Thank you.

Off-roading in Holland

Joshobon, I never came across anything like off-roading in Holland , on the HUBB, however on ADV (adventure-rider) there is a regional forum(Europe-Holland) where Dutch riders have signed in and I believe there was some off-roading topics mentioned. I'm pretty sure some of these guys can get you on the right track....I know it is done at some places in this country but as a cityboy on a cruiser, I wouldn't have a clue where...Greetings from (cold!) Amsterdam, Rob.

Finding legal trails close to Amsterdam is hard, but there are some options at 30-60 minutes.

Try 'De Kuil' in IJmuiden, it's a small terrain with some easy stretches but very technical if you want it to. I made this video there last weekend (forward to 0.45)
Transalp 650 off road in De Kuil, IJmuiden - YouTube

In the area of Putten and Nijkerk to the east there are good forest and sand trails that are legal to ride. Further east there are a lot more trails.

I go there occasionally to practice on my Transalp, contact me if you'd like to come sometime.

Also see allroadmap.nl
It's a map that highlights trails.. some gems in there but most trails are illegal for motorized vehicles. Sometimes you can research this with Google streetview.

allroadmaniacs.nl is a good site but local motor trails are rarely shared online on any site, this one is no exception.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
