Oil change in Thessaloniki

Hi everybody!

I am starting my trip from Switzerland through the Balkans to Istanbul on Sunday.

I am going with 2 friends and we are very excited. My DRZ400 is all set and ready to go. We planned our route and arround Greece I would need an oil change and a chain adjustment for sure.

We are taking a break in Thessaloniki so this would be the best solution. Can anybody recommend a place or workshop to do it and does anybody know how much it will cost more or less?

Normally I am working on my bike myself but I think it will be easier that way.

Thanks already to everyone!

Cheers

Dustin

If you ride trough Skopje, Macedonia, you can stop at my place and DIY. Just bring an oil filter and for oil we can buy it here for 10-15 euros per liter. Or I can guide you to the Suzuki service here. I believe that is cheaper than Thessaloniki. However, in Thessaloniki, there are so many services that it will be not a problem at all.

Hi Petre

Thanks for your reply and kind offer! We will come to Skopje but this will be a bit too early for the change. (We want to do only one oil change if possible)

But if you like to meet for a let us know!

Cheers

Dustin

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
