I'm departing Harwich on 16th June to Esjberg, then heading into Sweden, up the Gulf of Bothnia then to Nordkapp on 21 or 22 Jun. Then slowly winding my way down through Norway to the Hoek of Holland for my return on 2nd July. I will be on a white Tenere!

Gordon from Newcastle is visiting, for one. He's on a charity ride to the Arctic Circle, and will spend a night here. Better get the chilled and BBQ going...

I'm planning on heading that way - as soon as my bike arrives from Kenya and I get it imported (long story). Possibly not until August.
I've been reading your blog - good stuff keep it up.

I am leaving on 25th June and heading for Nordkapp. Going via the Chunnel then turning left through Europe up to Malmo. Scooting up through Sweden with a meander back via Norway. Got 2 weeks to do it in.
Look out for a white 1200gsa

Frankfurt north to Nordkapp.
My friend and I are leaving Frankfurt on June 25th on the way to Visby on Gotland Island Sweden. We will meet another friend there and head to Nordkapp. From there down thru Finland to St. Petersburg then along the Baltic thru Estonia, Latvia, Lithuaia, Poland, and Prague in the Czech Republic and back to Frankfurt at the end of July. Look for two Honda Dauvilles and a Yellow Suzuki Bandit.

Currently in Bodø waiting for post until monday, then getting the ferry to Lofoten on Monday night. We had some very bad weather in Southern Norway and it has improved the further north we have come. During the day we've had 23 degrees and the blue skies. The midnight sun last night was stunning, I hope the weather holds for those of you heading north and safe riding.....

Only 1 week to go and I am heading North to Nordcapp.
Ferry to Esbjerg then another ferry to Oslo then up the Left Hand Side to the top.
Then down through Sweden.
I had two replies from Hubbers in Sweden (none in Norway) who have kindly offered to meet up.
I put Google Latitude on my iphone to see if I can generate a map of the trip. I noticed that there is a ADV Riders section on SpotWallah where you can see where each other is.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
