I'm hoping to be heading to the Artic Circle loop ( Denmark - Sweden - Finnland - Norway -) coast roads except for the Finland crossing and done anti-clockwise . Start mid July, say 3 to 4 week loop. If anyones about it would be good to know / catch-up.

If anyone has GPS POI's or tracks this would also be appreciated !

Cheers and ride safe.

Ah - that was Carlo Guzzi's brother Guiseppe who rode the Moto Guzzi GT 500 to the Polar Circle in Norway in 1928 to prove the bike's worth as a long distance tourer. Quite a ride even in our time - a journey of biblical proportions back then. After the trip the bike was dubbed the GT 500 "Norge". Wouldn't mind one of those...

I am planning a 6 to 8 week trip to Norway vai France, Belgium , Holland Germany, Sweden. Then across the sea bridge [I think its called Ostund Bridge] into Sweden. Traverse north west to Norway and pick up E6. Home thro Finland ,Helsinki to Tallin ferry. Eastonia ,Latvia Lithuania etc. I also will travel alone with camping gear. No GPS just maps , compass and a tongue in my head. Can anyone see any pitfall in my plan

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
