And I was wondering if there is an organisation in Turkey that tows your vehicle if it breaks down. Like the AA in England and ADAC in Germany.
Would it be possible to have a tow-insurance as a foreignor for 4 weeks as I'm going there in june and my insurance only covers europe (not Turkey)
@Matt, don't banks sell insurance there (like over here)

Matt, I think your only chance will be the Turkish AA.

Hi Titbird
Isvicre Sigorta can provide you insurance (Green Card) which is only vaild in Turkey and it should cost something like £10. I dont know which border did you enter from, however, there was one office of Isvicre Sigorta in Ipsala (Greece Border). If you tell me where you are (you can e-mail me at ozhanu[at]gmail.com) i can tell you the nearest Isvicre Sigorta office in Turkey. I've just checked their website and it is only in Turkish.
Answer for your second question: There is no nation-wide roadsite help organisation like AA or RAC or ADAC. However, if you need one just stop a car and ask them to call a so-called "Kurtarici" or "Cekici". People are very helpfull and friendly in Turkey. My bike had been broken in Greece in Easter day on Motorway and people was so friendly that I got a tow-truck in 30 mins.
e-mail me for any question and help about Turkey.
[edit]: For Turkish AA visit http://www.turing.org.tr/ (available in English)
Good luck and enjoy Turkey

Thanks Ozhanu, I've got green card assurance, I was only wondering about a Turkish AA.
Lets hope I don't break down, I drive a Honda Blackbird, so I'm pretty confident.
