Ivecos
Hi Steve,
Should make a great exped truck. Check 4wd/low box/diff locks all work as the vehicles are unlikely to have been off road much.
Good luck and let us know what you find.

I would agree with previous post and add check all electrics too, if you are going to buy one then buy the best condition one with the lowest mileage you can afford. There are a few of us with ivecos here and there is the Yahoo group too.
ivecodaily4x4 : iveco daily 4x4
Good luck

gettin back ?
Hi Steve
I am also considering buying one of these.
However, my concern is a cost effective solution to get it back to UK.
If you do decide to buy then perhaps we could pair up and share costs for getting them back ????

if they have front diff locks then be carefull how you test it - otherwise you might find you've bought it cos you broke it and you will need a CV joint
ask about spare wheels - not sure they come with them
check high and low range, also see if they have heaters in place
as others have said, electrics. look at mounts for transfer box cos i know one owner had those fail
gearboxes can be 'notchy' when cold, check oil levels and a swap to synthetic can cure this, its just a trait of the iveco box
Post up some decent photos for us when you are back
