How to remove the jet needle of a AT
I need to remove the jet-neelde of a Africa twin. A mecanic removed the rings that are placed under the needles to make the mixture leaner. Naturaly the bike now overheat's when ideling so I want to put those rings back where they belong... Unfortunatly the mecanic does not remember how to remove the needles.
They are fitted in the throtle-valve (ofcourse), which is made of plastic. Seen from the top there is a square hole ( 1 X 1 cm) with in the middle a round holow tube (5 mm) sticking up. The tube has threath on its inside.
It looks as if the neelde-seat (the tube is part of that) is just pressed in there, but I pulled and it did not come out.
I even screwed a bolt into the tube (it has threath) to get more grip... but if I pull any harder I might break it.
So, does anybody know the secret trick? Do I need to klick my heels together three times first of say a magic word?
I,m sort of desperate since I,m in a hurry.
