Thanx man!

My bike is being reg. in 1991 but I think its the 1988-89 model. It has a no kickstarter, only electrics.

The manual links that I got earlier was good except when it comes to diagram its really blurr coz it has been scanned from the manual itself. The links that you gave me above was very clear but it in German.

Buyt thanks anyway I'll look up the dictionary

Its a long story,
be prepared.... I'll bore you to death!!

After changing my coil plug two months ago (actually it was 11 months ago after recalling the event) WOW! time sure flies nowadays.
The cdi 4 years ago (But the bike was sitting in a garage for 3 years)
looks like its giving me problem again. Its been running fine for the last 2000KMS, suddenly one fine evening when I was at my office basement starting the bike to go home, it wouldnt start! it was cranking but it it just wouldnt start! I stop pressing the starter but it was still cranking by it self!!? spooky, so I decide to turn off the switch, but it was still turning the motor, I said okay I'll pull all the fuses, before my starter starts to overheat but hey its still running, so I decide to pull the battery cables apart but there was no tools with me!! I ask around but everybody said no!! I quickly emptied my bag & luckily found a screwdriver, pheww... Im beginning to atttract attention by now but most of them were the building guards!

So whenever I connect the batteries I would start by itself, so I know now that Its time for a new starter relay. But afetr awhile the starter seems to be okay, So I check the spark plugs to the check on sparks and found out that there was no spark... So what other test should I do in order to know what is at fault?

i) checked the coil plugs, put it on other bikes the sparks looks okay,
ii) cdi hopefully its still ok... (how to check the cdi)
ii) & How do I check that the coil (the one near the magneto) is still ok?:confused1:
iv) Anything else to look for?

One more problem is I couldnt find anybody who ride the same damn bike here in Malaysia, the thing-is, it would be easier if theres a spare bike available.....

The manual checklist for the NX
No Spark.
Faulty Plug
Fouled Plug
Faulty CDI
Broken/shorted High Tension unit
Faulty Alternator
Broken/shorted Ignition coil
Faulty engine stop switch
Faulty Pulse generator
Poorly connected or broken wires.

I have a 88 NX and I have had problems with wiring connectors coming loose and making the bike run very badly, I have also changed the CDI and the Coil in this machine.
