HU Ride SEQLD/North NSW Sunday 4 May 2014
Hi everyone,
Withy a huge thanks to Scott for organizing this, I can announce our next Sunday ride:
Sunday 4th May
Breakfast at Ripples on the Creek, southern end of the Lions Road at Kyogle. That's between two and three hours from the Brisbane northside and I reckon it would be a beautiful ride down.
9:30am for Breakfast. After breakfast the group will split into two: one for Road riders and one for Off Road riders. We don't expect the off road riding to be too difficult.
602 Grady's Creek Road Kyogle - a.k.a "The Lions Road"

Hope to see plenty there for a great day out.
Regards,
Shane

Just some additional comments about this weekend's upcoming ride.
Some of us have arranged to meet at the Shell Roadhouse at Belmont, at the Old Cleveland Road exit. We will leave at 7:30 Am and take this route there:
https://www.google.com.au/maps/dir/Cross+St,+Belmont+QLD+4153/Ripples+on+the+Creek,+602+Gradys+Creek+Rd,+Gradys+ Creek+via+Kyogle+NSW+2474/@-27.7800385,153.0079628,8z/am=t/data=!3m1!4b1!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x6b915c1159930c 27:0xebb8f4631b3c1b8!2m2!1d153.125453!2d-27.5027291!1m5!1m1!1s0x6b90af84c484608d:0xc1a0f361 474d832c!2m2!1d152.95269!2d-28.443751
Everyone is welcome to join us, or you can just mosey on down your own way or arrange a different meet-up point. If we have a few takers meeting up at the Shell, we will leave in groups of four, with five minutes between each group. That way we will leave a buffer for passing, or being passed etc, especially along the Lions Road. Probably will stop for a few minutes at the Beaudesert Show Grounds for anyone who is thinking about coming to the HU meeting in October to have a look.
After breakfast, some will return on-road, some off-road. Its up to you which route or group you want to join. If thinking about off-road, be sure to ask the others who will be leading the group about the tracks first, there will be plenty of time to discuss over breakfast.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
