Heja Werner,
you could do a presentation about Romania...show some pictures and share some information ? That´ll be great...
Lookin´ forward to this meeting, missed the last one because of the birth of my son. I´ll probably take the camper van and bring him with me...about time for him to meet the right bunch of people.

Guys,
Please excuse my ignorance, I've never been to a meeting before, but I've gotta ask before putting my name down.
This is a HUB meeting in Germany so I guess the language for the presentations will be in German? I'm not a German speaker so it makes no sense for me to come along if I can't understand what's being said. I'll end up just drinking too much and getting noticed for the wrong reasons.
How does it work?
Cheers

During my time of working with Germans, they tend to speak better English language than most national English, having a better grasp of the grammar.

Only 10 more days! Welcome!!!
Hi guys out there,
Only 10 more days to our 11 HU Germany Meeting.
We will have some great presentations as well as a
"first course for motorcycle travellers for free!"
Sounds good, or?
I will be at the Meeting spot from Thursday on, but if somebody wants to arrive earlier - no problem!
Gasthaus is open - just pitch your tent and enjoy the local apple wine!
See you next week - Jens

More workshops and slide shows wanted...
Hi guys out there,
now it is your turn to tell a traveller´s story!
It doesn´t matter if you did a trip this summer or 50 years ago, maybe even more interesting in the former days... with old bikes?
If you have somethig to tell even a short trip around your home country - it doesn´t matter... Just bring your pictures!
Or a workshop like:
Cooking along the road?
Medicine - what to take?
Safer Sex for Bikers?
How to fix a KTM? Or why to use a KTM at all....
It doesn´t matter what you want to talk about - just start it!
See you next week at the 11th HU Germany Meeting!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
