Slide shows and workshops wanted...
Hi guys,
only two more months to our HU Germany Meeting. It would be nice if you could bring some pictures from your motorcycle trips. On a memory stick or even slide are okay, we have a projector and a beamer, speakers too.
Old pictures are very welcome too, sometimes trips in the 1950s were very challenging, for examble with a Heinkel Scooter through the Alps or to Rome or so...
If you have ideas about workshops - please let me know.
A medical workshop would be nice... like which medicine to take to which countries etc... Or a first aid course...
Thanks for your help!!!
Jens - right now in Iquique, Chile - today riding to San Pedro

Hi Jens,
good to know. So the time schedule needs to be adjusted. It tells to head home on Sunday.
But then, on Monday we have to take a day off from work, because we are located in Hessen. We are looking forward to see all of you at the meeting! :-)
Greetings,
Marc

With only three weeks left I'm selling the Beemer and getting a Tenere but we might end up without a bike on that weekend. Thus, I'm seriously considering taking our two 50cc bikes for a fun 320km ride

50ccm trip avoided! I've finally sold the BMW after less than a year and just purchased a brand new XT660Z Tenere, which - according to the dealer - should be here within less than two weeks.
Thus, an adventurous 50ccm trip accross Germany will not be necessary. I almost feel sorry for the Hercules, I've already made plans how to attach my aluminium panniers to the mokick... that would've kicked ass!
See you thursday evening in Ober-Liebersbach! Just like last year we'll arrive a day early.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
