Visit to a Motorcycle Museum - anyone interested?
While looking at the map yesterday, I remembered to check if there are any interesting sites in the area.
I found two motorcycle museums.
Motorcycle Museum Heinz Luthringshauser - The Museum - 67731 Otterbach, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany
Located in 67731 Otterbach
about 30 minutes from the campground
Open on Sundays and National Holidays and upon request
Unser Museum
Located in 67280 Quirnheim
about 30 minutes from the campground
Open Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays and upon request
I would be willing to arrange a visit with one of these museums if there are others interested in going. I don't have a preference which one.
It would be neat having the museum all to ourselves, including a guided tour.
Could I please get some feedback during the next few days? Ta.

Is there a schedule for the event? I'm tight on holiday allowance and probably have to skip Thursday, it would be good to know if there is anything on the Thursday I'd kick myself for missing.

Meeting time.
Its almost HU meeting time! I really look forward to go to the German meeting again. What makes all HU meetings for me that special is that it is the only place on earth where I find people that actually understand me.

Going to be my first this year. I'm very excited and eager to meet new people. I'll be riding from the netherlands, probably via road 61 (south of Koln) and maybe some smaller roads for the last part.
If anyone is interested in riding together on Thursday, please let me know.

Hey it depends when you will be near Cologne. From A61 close to Rheinbach you can ride passing the Nürburgring into direction of the Moselriver and than heading to the event. I can join from Rheinbach but it depends on the time as I have to work until approx 2pm.

I was planning on passing Rheinbach around 12pm and shortly after (not determined yet) get off the 61 and choose some fun roads.
I have no problems to shift this to around 14pm. Btw, I'm on a motorcycle, I'm guessing you are as well?
