HU Germany Autumn meeting - Oct 22-25, 2015
We are pleased to announce the 15th HU Germany meeting will be held 22-25 Oct 2015. This is your last chance to get to an HU European travellers meeting if you missed the awesome summer events! Great new location in a fantastic riding area - Campingplatz Pfrimmtal - 35 km west of the Rhine river, about 50 km south of Mainz, just at the entrance of one of the best riding areas of Germany - the Pfälzer Wald! A proper campground with great facilities - even showers! Jens Ruprecht is hosting this event.
Full details and Registration open now!
See the pics from the previous meeting here!
Call for Presenters! We're all here to learn, and there's LOTS to learn! We want to do more presentations and seminars - but we need volunteers to give them! Any topic you can contribute having to do with motorcycle travel, maintenance, planning, first aid, GPS, etc, lasting 20 minutes or more, would be great. Please sign up here.

Hi guys out there! Welcome back!
Hi guys,
isn´t it a great summer in Europe?
I am riding my bike nearly every day - just perfect!
After a great Meeting in May this year, with about 180 - 200 people, we are happy to announce our Fall Meeting 2015!
See you from the 22th - 25th of October at Camping "Pfrimmtal", Sippersfeld.
If you think it could be too cold for camping... they have rooms too...
See you soon - Jens

You can definitely pay on the day!
Pre-registration helps us a lot and makes sure the venue puts on enough food so we don't go hungry, and we have enough camping spaces reserved for us.
You can always come in the (gasp cough) car! We really don't care how you come or in or on what, just be there and join the rest having a great time!

Thanks I have not managed to be in the right place at the right time to visit an HU weekend.
Car I sold nearly everything I own and most of what's left is in the hands of the cargo company. If my bike gets back in time for me to book I will certainly book.

Hello Everyone,
I'm going to be there and I just thought about sharing the cabins or apartments in the camping (it may be cold for a tent already in October).
So if there's anyone willing to have a flatmate during the meeting please shout.
Cheers
Fred

HI Fred, I've got camping booked but could be keen to share a cabin/apt to bring the cost down. Who knows what the weather will be like.
Also, I wont have my bike and so if anyone who is going doesn't mind a pillion on one of the rideouts, coffee and sandwiches on me.

HU Germany Autumn meeting - Oct 22-25, 2015
I am staying with my sister and she lives less than 8kms from Sippersfeld. Can I attend but be a wimp and go home at and sleep in my own bed?
I am currently on a multi-month moto trip so I will have plenty of good stories to share!
Thanks,
Frances

Accom available - share chalet ? Germany 22 - 25 Oct
Hi
I have booked what the campsite tell me is the last 2 bedroom chalet for the 22nd to the 25th and am looking for someone(s) to share it and the cost. Total cost was approx £GBP181 so half of this would do me. Not sure if you can message through here but I am travelling back from the Ukrane to the UK via this meeting so keen to meet up along the way too. Let me know - I have fairly clean habits and all my own teeth so wont be too bad to share with (tis a 2 bedroom anyway so my personal hygiene issues neednt come too much into play) peter @ fproj.com
Cheers
Peter

HU Germany Autumn meeting - Oct 22-25, 2015
Hi, just booked. Would have been easy and efficient without PayPal.
Really looking foreward to this.
Tent for me.
Hope to arrive on Thursday afternoon, just hope the weather holds.
I am a natural volunteer, whatever needs doing.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
