I'm locked in for the meeting in 2 weeks time, but i'll be riding there illegally unless i can sort out some insurance. Does anyone have some advice for me about insuring an Australian registered bike in Spain? I have asked Mapfre, but they don't do it. From previous experience i know it can be difficult to get, i have purchased it twice from ADAC in Germany, but i have to go there personally to organise it. I assume there are some Moroccans bringing their cars over for a holiday, where do they buy insurance for Europe?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Don't forget your swimmers!!
The pool at the campsite will still be open for the HU weekend so don't forget to bring your swimming gear.

I'd recommend everybody sharing. We've been given the biggest plots on the campsite and you could get 3 small tents on each plot easily (4 if you want to get cosy), which will really cut down on costs. I think there's quite a few plots free that weekend , so anybody specifically wanting a plot to themselves will be able to book one.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
