Calgary Community Breakfast Meeting
The Calgary community is planning a get together for breakfast Sunday, November 2 in Bragg Creek. Let me know if you can make it out to share travel stories and I'll make a reservation for the right number of people!

I'll try to make it, Ekke. However, I just moved to Canmore and I'm starting a new job (with erratic schedule). If I'm not working I'll be there.

Reservations being made
I hope you can make it Jeremy, we haven't seen each other in a while with a bunch of adventures for both of us in between!
I've got 5 to 10 people confirmed or semi-confirmed for breakfast this coming Sunday, November 2, 2008. If you think you can make it out please let me know (reply to this thread or send me a PM) so that I can let Dave's Pizza know how many people to expect. Thanks!

Ekke,
Thanks for setting this up, it was good to see everyone.
I must say, I was a little surprised to find out that Dave's Pizza not in Black Diamond... I was so looking forward to seeing "Dave's Pizza in Black Diamond"....
Anyhow, could have saved a bit of travel actually reading the email which clearly indicated Dave's Pizza is in Bragg Creek.
Look forward to the next meeting, tho I suppose it will likely be snow-covered by then. Sure was a great day for a ride

Feedback?
Audrey and I really enjoyed the breakfast last weekend. From the feedback of those that attended and those that couldn't make it we should probably do this again.
How frequently would a breakfast get together make sense? Monthly? Every two months? Monthly in the Winter to keep the travel fires burning and skip July & August?
Personally I like Dave's Pizza as a location but what do others think?
Here is a photo of the attendees:

I am also very interested in attending a breakfast meeting if there are more to come. I'm very early in the stages of planning a South America ride and would love to pick the brains of some local riders.Cheers,Andy

Breakfast
Hello everyone, I also think that another breakfast should be done, possibly in the city if everyone is up to it.

Sunday, February 1
I've chatted with the owners of Dave's Pizza and they would be delighted to have us come for breakfast again.
10:00 a.m., Sunday February 1 at Dave's Pizza in Bragg Creek.
I'll send out a note to the Calgary Community and cc anyone else who might be interested. Please either post on this thread or send me an e-mail if you can make so that I can let the restaurant know the approximate numbers.
