Best Motels
Can anyone suggest a good (cheap) hotel close to Cambria. Obviously I dont plan on spending much time at the hotel but a good bar would be nice. Thanks and cant wait.

GOOD and CHEAP being subjective terms I suggest you have a look here.
There are also some reasonably priced motels in San Simeon, about 7 mi north.
See you in Cambria!

Available camping or bunks? CA Meeting
Apparently the Registration for the Cambria meeting is closed. Is it possible to ride in register and get a camp spot or bunk?
Thanks,
Pete (thunderpuppy)

Pete-
We don't actually have "possession" of the Camp until Friday. So the answer to your question is Thursday, no; Friday, YES!
There is both camping and bunk space available. You can choose when you arrive.
See you in Cambria,
Mike

Had a great time at the meeting again this year. Love the new location, hope we can have it again next year.
Many thanks to the hosts and volenteers who organized the event and also to all the vendors.
Grant and Susan of course, and the stellar presenters.
Road kill cookout next year!!!
The old rat of a sidecar made it back to LA without breaking down. New clutch and tires before the next meet.
Regards
Peter

Had a great meeting at Cambria. Thanks too all who organized all. Great location ok camping still pricey, but otherwise no complaints. 3 day dawdle home zig-zaging up N-Cal to stay off the highways. See ya all next year.

A few thing we saw in Cambria
Great meeting!
Thanks to EVERYONE who attended and especially to ALL THE VOLUNTEERS.
Here are a few memories...
Saturday morning - Camp is filling up. Over 200 travelers.
Sherri-Joe Wilkins took a break during her RTW trip.
Peter and Kay Forwood came on their legendary Harley.
The Coach2Ride dual sport group headed out early.
Tents of all shapes...
...and sizes spread across the Camp.
Shhhhhh! Someone's sleeping in there!
Old friends reunited and new friends being made...
Nicole Espinoza and Dr. Greg Fraizer
Ted Simon and Susan catching up.
Grant and Chris Sidah discussing the fine points of......something.

We had a great time meeting "ya all". It was well worth the time driving down from Canada. If we are not in Africa as anticipated in 2012 we will definately come down again for next year.
