cool guys keep it coming.
Mervic: it will be in the state of Rio 'cause this is where I live and it will be easier for me if it is not too far from my home.
If we are not too many (12 to 15) I may rent a full house with also caba~nas included (and pool and churrasqueiria...it's a fantastic place!) .
It is very cheap (only slightly more than camping) in low season cause they don't provide anything (no bedding, towels, Breakfast etc) but the main mansion has a big kitchen and massive living room which would be ideal for presentations or group discussion.
If not I have a camp ground in mind too.

Hi....I'm a observer in the Hubb for a while but Grant gave me a notice that you, Maria, is organizing a HU mini-meeting in Brazil. I live in Niteroi but constantly (weekly) travel to SP for family and girlfriend. I know too well the highway, Penedo and the other cities along that route. You can´t go wrong along there plus it is central to the states of Rio, Minas and S.Paulo. I would like to help somehow. Do let me know how. Cheers.

Hi guys,
thanks for the offers of help. I could do with some (Especially I as I am currently bogged down with Detran to register my bike - a nightmare - long story!!!)
Anyway, at the moment we are travelling around Wyoming and Montana on a couple of rented motorbikes so I don't have always access to internet.
I will be back in Rio mid July and we can discuss this. Date still 14th to 16th Sept. Venue if you have something very good and convenient for everyone, I am flexible.
So far we may be about 10 but the numbers can grow at the last minute! We need to know for sure 2 weeks before and make sure the area selected has plenty of accommodations in addition to the main venue.
Let's talk when I am back.
cheers,
MAria

Put me down as a maybe. I am in Peru now and will get to Brazil eventually, but mid-September might be a bit soon at the rate I've been traveling lately. I will let you know closer to the date if I can make it there.

Hi,
I dont think we are going to make it. Our sailing from europe is delayed, so we only get to Uruguay by the end of August, maybe even start of September. and our poor old mog cannot get that far that fast :-(
Best of luck with the meeting, and maybe we will see some of you on the road if your heading South.
Merv and Sarah.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
