Grrrrrrr
I can't make it this time which I'm a bit gutted about. Bike and car playing up at the same time with MOT hassles
Next time...
Kencandig, there's an Edinburgh list on the HUBB communities section, get yourself on there and you'll hear about our pub meets and so forth. There was talk of another travelling mini meet some time ago, the Borders were mentioned.

Well, it was a windy ride back, and there was a fair coating of filth and mud but the XTZ and my gear is now washed and awaiting another outing
Thanks to everyone for being such super company, and especial thanks to the guys that lead and tailended the Saturday ride and looked after us all so well
here's a pic of Ingleborogh with the sun trying to get through, 1 minute after I took the pic, I was bombarded with stinging hailstones, some of which where bouncing around inside my helmet

Lucky we had planned a stop in Kettlewell to meet some of the others
Here it was noticed that one of the bike's had lost it's sump plug losing all it's oil.
Thankfully Bill Willkinson at the garage was on form and made a new plug in no time.
Nick Happy with the DR he just bought form Chris Bright.

What a superb weekend! Location, Company, Rideout, even the weather was reasonably kind to us, all absolutly great.
Thanks to all who must have put in a lot of effort to get all together and a special thanks to Dazzer for the reasonably easy but still spectacular off-road rideout and the great pics!
See you all at Ripley if not before !!!

Many thanks
Home after a cold ride back yesterday, Beej and I encountered sleet, serious side winds, and snow! But also some cake, which made things better.
Thanks to all for a great weekend, but especially to Debs for organising, Dazzer for a fantastic ride out, Basil for picking me up (lots!), and Neil for getting the TA down the last hill for me when I had the keys in my pocket...
Hope the V-Strom that passed us on a trailer on the M6 is now OK - next time can you get them to come on a bigger truck so we can hitch a lift!!!
Hope to see you all again soon!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
