Lincs/South Yorks meet.

It seems we haven't really got anything on the site that is happening in the immediate future, so how would you all feel about a meet durng the next month?

There hasn't been one in Lincolnshire during the time that I have been using the site, so maybe we could have one here? We could hold it in this North/East/South/Midland area (nobody actually admits to owning Lincs - I think it should split off as an independent republic). If nobody is up for that, another Yorkie meet is doable, or a Derbs one.

There are several pubs in North Lincs that could accomodate us, and it is so mild this spring that everyone can join in, no matter how fair weather their disposition.

Consider yourself president-elect!

I've noticed a few yellowbellies coming on here in the last couple of years. That's great for me as I intend to move back to my adopted county next year (Digby). It'd be nice to join an active scene after leaving Sharjah.

If you have anything local planned for this summer (late June to mid-August) I'd love to come along.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
