You'll find people here who have crossed continents on a C90 .. but not the week after they passed their CBT!
From Norwich, head through Wroxham to the north Norfolk coast .. say to Bacton ..and then turn left and just keep going. It's beautiful, and the roads shouldn't be too crowded at that time of year.

When in Bristol you might want to check out some of the back lanes around Castle Combe / Chippenham direction, or if you fancy a longer trek then takes the minor roads up to Ross-on-Wye.
Have fun!

Hi Matt
Contact the communities (link in LH column) with your question. There are something like 20 of us in the Bristol area (don't know about Norwich), some of whom would be willing to help, I'm sure.
Regards, Mick

No substitute for reading a map!

The first one's paper copy is very "predictable": the recommended routes are so bloody obvious, you would pick them off any map in any case as worth looking at (some of the better roads that I know personally in some areas of the UK are not identified, which is fine - there will remain less traffic on those roads!!).
The second one has been mentioned in here before: sure it is comprehensive in coverage of UK roads, but the comments about those roads are so very predictable, based on the (limited) interests of crotch-rocket pilots in the main.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
