[QUOTE=*Touring Ted*;421616]Me and GreenManaleshi have built a huge motorcycle trailer over the last few weeks, and that's what we're dragging the bikes up on.
Towed ceremoniously by a Gold Citroen Berlingo that wouldn't look out of place in Colonel Gadaffis front line... I'm sure Greenmanalishi has got a golden 44 Magnum in the glove box too.
What started out as a drunken 'Back of a fag packet' idea has turned into a £700 bohemoth that has dominated my garage for too long.
We're using it out of pure stubbornness as it was going to be necessary as our girlfriends WERE coming along (who wouldn't fit on the bikes) but then they dropped out like whiney old women leaving us half way through a project build.
Look forward to seeing you Ted and Stan - hope the weather brightens soon - Stan - no rideouts decided yet - just whatever folk want to do weather etc permitting - how about we decide in the pub the night before !

Didn't realise there was such an active community in the Frozen North - may just pop out from Edi to meet and greet - sorry, I do my travelling on 4 wheels! Hope that doesn't preclude me :-)

It is not a bad idea to come by car. Weather appears bad.. Let us hope for the best.
BTW do we worry about rain or cold.
I am planning to hit the camp site to join the ride out on Saturday. love to see you all.

Even if it's just a piss up in a campsite.. It will be a good laugh.
It's a 500 mile trip for us so the car/bike/trailer combo might be quite good.
We're planning to visit John O gorats, Skyke etc and keep Cannich as a base..

Slight change of plan
Hi Guys, due to circumstances beyond our control we will be arriving on Thursday and we will both be on bikes. We are stying in Edinburgh on Wednesday night and rocking up to Cannich around 2pm the following day. Our plans to stay until Monday morning have been shot to pieces as well we will be leaving Cannich on Sunday morning and going back to Edinburgh.
See you all when we land.

The circumstances are that we're just too f**king hardcore to turn up at a adventure bike meeting in a Gold Berlingo towing a trailer with our bikes on..
That's what E&C would of done before they started filming....
And secondly, we're all out of spray on mud !!

I'm nearly free from my incarceration, and might just make it up for the friday night. Am I wrong that there were curry pasties on the first time of a meeting in Cannich (2009) ?
Are you boys coming into Edinburgh on Wednesday going for a ?

Wednesday Eburgh
Hi Dougie, not sure what is happening on Wednesday evening. I am frantically trying to contact my brother who lives in Joppa. I cant get hold of him we may be camping on the public ground by the Rockville pub just down the road from the Ormaleigh!
Watch this space, without putting out your address what part are you from and which is the nearest pub to you?

WTF?
Bags packed, suited up and engine running, weather forecast is torrential rain Will see everyone there if I dont die of pneumonia or hyperthermia on the way up. Ted has started building an Ark and I am trying to find a good side to this venture apart from the sparkling company
At least Chiz and Bruce will have organised ring side seats for the Cannich Bull Run for us ?
See everyone over the next few days

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
