Horizons Unlimited Ireland July 18-20, 2014
18-20 July, 3 great days of adventure travel! One week later, even more chance of warm weather!
We're back in Enniskillen, what a fantastic venue and the friendliest people you will ever meet!
Typical comment from 2013: "The food was delicious (without a doubt the best I ever had at a rally or meet up), the entertainment fabulous and the presentations mind-blowing!"

It's that time of the year again, time to make plans for a return to Enniskillen.
I might even have to go on a ride somewhere first then tell you all about it.

No problems with campervans or overland trucks. Just let us know your mode of transport when registering and we will make sure that you will be located within staggering distance of the presentation hall

Big congratulations to Bernard Smith and Cathy Birchall for their excellent book "Touching the World: A blind woman, two wheels and 25000 miles" achieving the top 10 on Amazon's list of favourite books on Latin American Travel
Oh, did we mention that Bernard is one of the presenters at Enniskillen this year
And, whilst we are name dropping , a very "fingers crossed" congratulations to David Kyle, our "Globebusting" AV man who makes sure that all the techy stuff works at each Ireland meeting. Amongst his many talents. David is a great photographer and one of his travel photographs is well in the running for inclusion in the Horizons Unlimited 2015 calendar. Judge for yourself the quality of the shortlisted entries for this accolade here http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...-winners-75142 and remember that there were over 600 entries in total! Can you pick out David's photograph? Buy the man a pint in Enniskillen

Great to learn that Geoff Hill, well known adventure travel author will be giving a presentation at Enniskillen this year. Geoff is an award winning newspaper travel writer and author of many books including “Way to go: two of the World’s great motorcycle journeys”, “The Road to Gobblers Knob: from Chile to Alaska on a motorbike” and “Oz: around Australia on a motorbike.”
Just last year he completed a re-creation of the first round the world motorcycle ride so his talk at Enniskillen will be well worth hearing.

To anyone debating about turning up with 4 wheels, go for it. I was there with a Landrover in 2011, got hooked on the stories of motorcycle travel and left home and have not been back yet. Addictive stuff!

I'm gutted I can't make it over this year. I had an absolute ball with everyone last year. I came away feeling that I'd been surrounded by friends. There were so many bonuses for being at the Meet.
Here goes just some of them: The great atmosphere, the venue, the camping area, the enthusiasm and helpfulness of the organisers and volunteers, the excellent presentations, the beautiful area and, well, I could go on. I hope you have a fantastic time!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
