Look forard to meeting some of you. I'll be on a wobbly bike of one sort or another.

Previously a lot more people were listed as having been at Ripley and 'hoped' to be at this one too, but we've since updated the meeting page to just show those who are confirmed. I don't know the score with Austin and Walter specifically, but there are certainly still more to come.
It's worth keeping a regular eye on the page for changes and extra info. For example, a 'Money Market' is a new idea and there's a very important note about NOT arriving on site before the Friday.

I'm also new here but I'm really hoping to make it to the meet, living as I do, only about 20 miles down the road. However attendance will take serious negotiation as I only get back from a 2 week trip to Europe on Friday lunchtime - so I'll have to see !

Registered last week, finally paid this morning... looking forward to a good weekend.
Hope there isn't a lot of booze around... I only drink booze when I'm alone or with somebody.

We're coming
Me and Iain (patta) will be there.
One thing though (and this might be in the wrong thread) we didn't receive an email confirmation. We registered on the day that the site was down for a few hours so I wonder if that had anything to do with it. I got the confirmation from Paypal that we've paid but nothing else. Can anyone check to make sure our registration has been received pleased?
See you there!

Debz and Ian, yes we do have your confirmation - all ok! Please check your spam filter. Sometimes that gets it.
Something might have gone wrong, but it's 100% at our end - we received the email (sent exactly the same time yours was sent) and the database was also updated. Susan will forward them to you to be sure.
have fun!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
