hi,
it's possible i can help get some streaming footage of the meet in July for the H.U website. It'll either be for Progressive download, or if i can persuade my business colleague, we might be able to spare some bandwidth for proper streaming with synchronised slides / images.
Unless the pub has a good internet connection, we won't be able to do this live!
if anyone has a mini dv camera who is coming, that would be useful. we only have digibeta's and I can't let them be used for this (my colleague would put my nuts in a grinder)!

hi all (and glynn),
i rang the pub.
i'm not sure they know exactly what the internet is. it looks unlikely =
we will be able to do live streaming of the talks through horizons =
unlimited.
shame.
it is possible that i will have one of the new mobile phones that allow =
for a 56k link to a laptop. we might be able to do something. perhaps a =
live audio feed to the h.u website? i'll sleep on it.

hi,
i tried calling, but i think you are away in the lake district.
OHP and slide projector are fine. I can't supply a video projector though. Business partner doesn't want to let it out.
I'll try calling again tommorow.
All best,#
Matt

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
