KLE500 Questions?
Hi All,

Had my KLE500 (2006model) now for a couple of months, I have a fireblade also but seem to have more fun on the kwak now!.

Just a couple of questions to ask...

The tank holds 15lts... how much is the reserve?
(I read an interesting one on here where the fella had doctored the tank somehow to make the reserve kick in later?)

Also, Im thinking of getting a taller screen. Theres not much arround for the KLE's in the UK in regards to acessories. Just wandered if anyone has bought an aftermarket screen and how they fair?.

Like I said earlier, Love the bike to bits, Ive always had sports bikes and got the KLE coz it was cheap, £2500 for a 2006, 700mile example.

I would love a big GS1200 or something, but that would mean getting shut of my fireblade, now i have the best of both worlds!!!

I think my rear stock tyre has just about had it now thanks to me thrashing the little 500 all over the place, Any recomendations on tyres???.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
